That can be filtered out, but it is less efficient the faster you are moving. That could be reflected by having range 2 if not moving and 1 if they didErik wrote:

Re: Patch On Route
i'm agree with the AA being way to strong ,us AA can take 5 point out of my fighters when P40 never do more than 3 !!!Horst wrote:The air defense of (cargo) trucks looks too high compared to the ground defense. They normally have to stick to the roads and drive in long convoys - should be easy pickings even for dogfighter aircrafts.
More suggestions:
- auto-naming of saved games, like "scenario name - turn #"
- dogfighter planes are quite weak against all kind of ground units, but isn't necessarily that bad if you like to keep the strength/weakness difference between heavy fighters. It still feels strange though that they can easily be shot down by AA guns, like the tiny Braat Overvalwagen. The dogfighters' weakness vs. ground units should be somehow compensated by better ground defense, as they rather fly very fast and high in the sky most of the time. When you escort your tactical bombers, the AA units typically fire at the weaker dogfighters although they pose hardly any threat. Doesn't look that plausible.
also some problem with price of jap arty about 80 but same unit if buy from anti tank cost 40 ???

You can save whenever you want and label the saves whatever you want.
Land/air/naval command points determine how many land/air/naval units you can purchase/deploy. It is a neat way (for the designer) to restrict the purchase to somewhat realistic/historic OOBs.
Also, you cannot buy more new units than can be supplied. Hit the space bar and look at the supply location. It will display a number in red, that's the number of supply missing. Each unit needs approximately 3 supply. When the number is green, that is the surplus supply.
Most important: Units with the 'red point' is out of supply can't receive repair and will move/fight badly after a few turns. If all your units are orange or worse it means they are all on low supply.
Hope this helps a bit
Thanks for the quick response -- didn't notice that the name "autosave" could be clicked and renamed. Is supply abstracted or does it diminsh over distance (if I have a supply ship at a town at one end of the map, does it provide supply all the way to the other end if supply route is uninterrupted)? I believe the answer is, Supply is not affected by distance.

You are either in supply or not, range doesn't matter

I think that the stats will be different, but since the switched stats are not shown when purchasing you would have to buy one of both and then compare the stats.paxuni wrote:

For the HO-NI 1 the Art Version has worse stats in AT mode than the bought AT version

Why is the game not optimized !? Do something with these brakes )
How do I repair the PBY Catalina large seaplane? It should be repairable by the Repair Ship at the very least.
The manual says the Catalina flying boat can be repaired by a cruiser. Haven't tried it yet.

Time was invented so that everything didn't happen at once.
Re: Patch On Route
Agggh, I'm waiting for the patch to really get into the game. So hard. Please help.
Re: Patch On Route
The official patch won't be for this week anymore, but we'll upload another hotfix tomorrow.
Re: Patch On Route
Guess I'll start a game then!! Can't... resist...

Re: Patch On Route
Where can one download the hotfixes? Are they available on Steam only?adherbal wrote:The official patch won't be for this week anymore, but we'll upload another hotfix tomorrow.
The issue that has already cost me two secondary objectives is the bug where I cannot switch from bombs to torpedos on my carriers, was it fixed in any of the hotfixes?
Thanks.

Re: Patch On Route
Have you located the cause of the low framerate in certain PC´s?
Re: Patch On Route
Optimising AI and graphics engine performance is an ongoing task. I think the main framerate bug was limited to the Java map caused by a bugged unit, but we expect overal performance to be improved gradually over the next patches. Don't expect sudden miracles
Once the NATO counters mode is activated that will certainly provide another option for the lower spec machines.
