Question about supply sources

If I use my engineers to destroy a supply source hex as part of a scorched earth retreat strategy, does the AI enemy re-build these supply source hexes once they are captured? Or are they permanently nullified for the duration of the scenario?

From memory, the AI won't currently restore those supply sources. Are you saying they should (and that we should therefore include that behaviour in a patch)?

No, sounds like it is working as designed: if the scorched earth tactic works because the enemy AI cannot repair the supply sources during the scenario, that is fine by me. It is a viable technique in the short (scenario) term to slow down the Japanese advance down the Bataan Peninsula. Of course the AI should be able to do the same in later scenarios, destroying supply sources as the Japanese retreat when the US is on the offensive. But that is what US amphibious supply ships are for, right?
