Crashes on turn 17 (iPad version)

I'm running the latest version of the game on an iPad Air 2. Whenever I get to turn 17 and the AI are making their moves the game crashes at "Executing naval moves".

I've tried rebooting and replaying my save games but this happens every time.

Is there a fix coming for this?

Pretty much right as I wrote this I saw an update that seems to have fixed the issue.

I am seeing excessive battery drain though, but then again I can see that a game this big will do that
