Rock Paper Shotgun has enlisted three of our titles in the list of ”The 50 Best Strategy Games Ever Made”!
War in The East (#27),Panzer Corps (#19) and Distant Worlds (#13)!

And what about you? What are your favorite strategy games?

Are you more up to command armies on a strategic level or do you have a lieutenant soul, eager to manage few units at the tactical scale?

Advanced Tactics Gold deserves to be on that list and in my humble opinion, in the top 10.

Alpha Centauri on the 2nd place? Mhm... A good alternative would be Pandora ...

But what surprise me that it has none reach the Commander games... but also not C&C, HoI, ...

Lists like these are great for inspiring debate, but shouldn't be taken too seiously. Obviously there is a lot of nonsense on the list. Why isn't Europa Universalis higher? Where is Railrod Tycoon? Where is Starship Orion (a game from 1980 on the Tandy TRS-80)? The debate goes on.
