Is there any way to get past this one? It's me with 1 elephant and a crappy AT gun, some busted up troops, a couple armored mortars, against what seems to be three dozen russian tanks.
First, I've tried dumping some troops in the corn fields to take out some tanks, and with some artillery barrages took out a few more, the elephant is able to take a few out before it gets overwhelmed, but eventually I'm just completely overwhelmed.
I've also tried hiding and picking random tanks off with troops and my 2 armor but eventually I'm just completely overwhelmed. There are so many tanks everywhere that even if you're able to take a tank out with one shot there are three others around to fire on you afterward. I thought maybe the tanks would pass through off the map but they don't seem to (I may have lost too soon though).
Do reinforcements come I hold out long enough?

Could it be because of how many troops/armor I lost in the previous campaigns? I always play on hard mode and in the previous campaign got unlucky with a few good shots from the other side.

That definitely will contribute to not moving forward in the future scenarios. You might try restarting the campaign and hopefully not loose as many units? It took me a couple of tries on Hard to get all scenarios won.
Good Luck.

Hello Comrade,
I'm only as far as mission 3 so far, but yes, if you have lost most of your core units then you are likely to struggle a bit. I was storming through on Max difficulty, but that was without any armoured losses of my core units. But basically that Elephant is your only real chance to kill the enemy armour. I'd say just stay at range and try to avoid it getting surrounded. Your other units might be able to help out a bit, but they are probably gonna be stuck attacking from cover and scouting for you.

I'll start the campaign over. I normally play pretty conservatively and strategically but I had some bad luck in the previous battles - like my armor having a 70% chance to hit with 75% chance of penetration and missing all three shots for several turns in a row and having my tanks taken out in one shot... It was terrible.
But I enjoy a challenge and kept playing and managed to get this far, but I just don't think it'll be possible to get past this battle with what I've got left. I guess the Russians win this one.

Here's what I can't figure out: one of the achievements is to kill 40 tracked units. I've swept the map and can't get past the mid 20s. Any hints? I've captured the VPs with a bunch of turns remaining, am I missing a big wave of Russian armour?
