Behemoth - a strategic team campaign
The first draft of Behemoth, a strategic map-based campaign layer for Pike & Shot, is ready to see the light of day. The following link should, in theory, allow you to get hold of the rules, the map and the font the rules are written in (I recommend the font by the way, most fun for 17th century stuff).

We have fourteen play testers so far, but could probably manage a few more. Thus far we have:
Aryaman, Blathergut, cavehobbit, Deadtorius, Ironclad, keyth, rbodleyscott, Ulysisgrunt, Waldorf, youngr, Doyley50, Warlord, awesum4, TheGrayMouser. Let me know here or via PM if you are interested - initial number cap will probably be 16 - 20.

Factions
Awesum4 and I have a preference for the Royalists - does anyone else have a burning desire to be on one faction or the other? I will try to cater for first choices as far as possible, though I may need to shuffle the top players around to have a bit of balance.

Re: Factions
My preference is Royalist (despite a secret admiration for Old Noll) and no worries I suspect about falling into the shuffling category.keyth wrote:Awesum4 and I have a preference for the Royalists - does anyone else have a burning desire to be on one faction or the other? I might have had an ancestor who was killed by parliament forces for not renouncing his royalist loyalties, but Im ok either way.

This looks very interesting, Keyth, thanks for taking on the task.
I assume battles will be fought with stock Pike & Shot, as opposed to any mod?

Thank you for the offer of a berth, Keyth. But I'm afraid I must decline, as I don't play standard Pike & Shotkeyth wrote:Totally standard. Would you like to book a berth?Interlocutor wrote:This looks very interesting, Keyth, thanks for taking on the task.

Re: Factions
I'd prefer fighting for the king vs a bunch of prudish whigs , however, feel free to shuffle me wherever ; )keyth wrote:Awesum4 and I have a preference for the Royalists - does anyone else have a burning desire to be on one faction or the other?
