I am a new player of this game and i ask if Sovereignty in "Casual "don't be too much difficult to play. i am not a pro of strategic and i like beginning with an easy mode to learn the principes of the game before war
what can i do to avoid conflict? Alliances is good? can you explain some helps ? in first what kingdom i have to take? with 2 or 3 asterix?
Thanks
Thanks
Re: Difficulty
I won't speak to difficulty, that tends to be a subjective thing.
War is however a fairly integral part of the game, so it will probably happen, you can make it easier by having alliances. IF you really want to avoid conflict, maintain good relations with your direct neighbours, then if anyone does declare war they probably can't get to you - have a decent army to put people off from declaring war on you.
IF you want an easy start, choose a realm with a 4 or 5 star rating, those realms have better starting positions, more land, and generally better armies (Avoid the Boruvian Empire, their army is not good).

Re: Difficulty
Thanks for your response. If somebody have more ideas to help me for the beginning that will be fantastic.
Re: Difficulty
I only have some 10-15 hours played myself, but what I find to be a huge pain is the lack of heroes, so I would go with a nation with 3+ #of heroes, and 2-3+ #of diplomats.
The #of diplomats dictates how many diplomatic actions you can perform,
the #of heroes dictates how many armies you can use to fight tactically instead of just auto-battle.
Apart from that, what I have been doing so far is to start a nation, play it for a little while, then restart with another etc etc just to get an idea of what sort of setup I prefer. Some have cheap low efficiency units, some have expensive really good units, some rely on healing etc etc, so my biggest advice is to get in there and play a little while, then restart over and over

Is a good idea to try many nations. Is There some nations more easy than others to start with diplomatics quite good?
The first thing to do is the economy or the army?

Re: Difficulty
Vessoi is a great starting one - upgrade all economy as much as possible while attacking Dunmar in the first few turns. Your only real opponent is Jotland, but they shouldn't attack you early on anyway.

Re: Difficulty
If you go to Settings, you can also set the Difficulty to Casual.
Re: Difficulty
thanks for Casual :
is really better or more easy the game , less combat?
is the alliance efficient with strong nations?
