Can't update Ipad version

Having been stymied in my attempt to get Tercio & Salvo running on the PC, I decided to make the attempt on my Ipad. First I tried to update to a new version. I followed the instructions and it took me to the download page, then I hit the button to download the update, and it appears to have downloaded a zip file. It then asks me if I want to open this in PDF reader, Good, or Cisco Web Ex. I doubt any of these will work, and they don't.

So how do I get this zip file to unzip on my Ipad and install? I'm used to the typical app installation where everything happens automatically. Does this exist somewhere, and I just failed to find it?

OK, found it it in the App Store. You may want to alter the message that you get when first opening the game. It steers you to the wrong place for Ipad users. The message that you get when you open multiplayer steers you to the correct place.

Hmmmm. That isn't supposed to happen. I will check it out.
