Help with Moving and Changing Units

It is 1965 and the US ground war in Vietnam is in full swing. As a US Army commander, wage a counter-insurgency (COIN) war to secure the Ia Drang valley, on the border with Cambodia.

Help with Moving and Changing Units

Post by demyansk »

This is my problem with playing the game. I left click on the unit and a green arrow shows up on the screen to move the unit. Then, I move the unit and I am able to click on other units but sometimes it doesn't go to the next unit.
It seems that the clicking is not the best,
After the unit finishes, what is the best way to get to another unit?

Secondly, perhaps a better system would be to left click to select unit and right click to move like most RTS games.

Lastly, what do mosy players do , click on end of turn or the arrows on the bottom right? It seems unclear to me

Right click to deselect.

The arrows at the bottom are for cycling through units that don't have orders, when you are done issuing orders you select the end turn button.

I do the right click to deselect and at times it doesnt deselect the unit. I have done al the tutorials and been playing these games for over 30 years.

In the upcoming patch we are increasing the sensitivity of the selecting/deselecting functions. :)
