Transporting a 25PDR gun

I'm on the the final mission of the North Africa campaign "Take the hill". I'd like to choose the artillery piece 25PDR gun. The problem is, it is deployed at the very beginning of the scenario and runs out of bombard range after the hill. I purchased a transport unit to move it, but it does not load up. Is the artillery piece to large to transport, or can it be moved and I'm missing something. Thanks for the advice!!

You should be able to transport the artillery

I bought the truck for 9. But it would not load. Do I need to purchase the other transport which is more expensive?

Ok got the transport part figured out. I'm getting killed on the hill trying to take it in 10 turns. Any advice?

Why don't you explain how you solved the transport issue?

I pulled up the transport next to the gun and selected the gun. It showed a blue truck option to load it onto the truck. I think the trouble I was having before was that I used the gun to shoot. I have to load the unit and not fire it in order to transport. Same with unloading. You cannot shoot until next turn.

Thanks! I worked that out too, I was having a little trouble on iPad, not touching the blue truck thing. Great game.
