re-installing 1.60 beta patch

Have 3 MP matches to finish in 1.60 beta. I had downloaded 1.62 with the understanding that prior version matches could be completed there, however that is not true. So now I am trying to get back to where I can complete them. Uninstalled CTGW then reinstalled from CD (version 1.20 I believe that's what is on basic CD). My problem is updating the new install with only to 1.60 beta patch, How do I do this?

Ended up going to the "members only site" at Matrix, Blow and behold there is a download there for 1.60 beta. Slitherine does not have anything like that site that I know of. It's funny that nobody from Slitherine suggested to use that Members only site at Matrix for downloads. Gee! What's with that?

Hey operating, I am not sure I understand your issue. Are you saing that you are not able to update to 1.6.2? Or that you can't continue your MP game from 1.6 beta?

He can't continue his multiplayer games in 1.62 beta game.

Because the game is not listed anymore right?

That is because games from beta period are played on test servers and are not moved to live servers after patch is official. We always try to communicate that fact but we also understand the frustration that game con't be continued. We are trying to came up with solution that will allow you to finish the game though, stay tuned!

Thanks for responding! For now I am all set to finish up in 1.60 beta MP, may take a week or 2, then I will be going hardcore 1.62. Tried to have a 1.62 in "GAME" file/folder as laid out by Kirk on the Matrix forum, however it would not launch (would have liked to use 1.62 in SP in between turns during the 1.60 beta MP matches). You know what an opinionated critic I am about this game, it's only because I like it so much.

Oh NO! Everything as it is right now are good with 1.60 beta, don't need a hotfix for that. Thanks anyways, Bob
