unit graphic ECW

Post by Aryaman »

Hi
I find some of the graphics rather misleading, the royalist infantry with 85musket/15pikes look like the all musket units but it is much more tough against cavalry, while the 85pike/15musket looks like ordinary Pike and Shot, but in fact its shot is much weaker, but it is very good in close combat, could not those units have their own graphics?

They could indeed. Unfortunately as they were really only for one battle, the models did not get done for the release version, as there were other priorities. The 85 musket/15 pike model will certainly be needed for later 17th century units.

In the meantime, if anyone wants to take a stab at these models.....

American Revolution and various colonial wars come into mind. Sounds good!

So just out of curiosity, do you have plans for either side of the 17th century and more for future games of this series?
