iPad version interface Problems?

It is 1965 and the US ground war in Vietnam is in full swing. As a US Army commander, wage a counter-insurgency (COIN) war to secure the Ia Drang valley, on the border with Cambodia.

iPad version interface Problems?

Post by KenPortner »

1. Is there a way to restart a game and start over? I can't find it. (I'm not talking about multiple saved games; just want to start over- no, I'm not willing to hit the turn over button 50 times)

2. Is there a way to replay the basic tutorial?

3. My Green Berets don't want to train ARVN. When I click that option and then select a forward base as instructed nothing happens.

4. Is the flag on a village supposed to change when a US unit enters it? When mine enter the villages sometimes they change to Stars & Stripes, sometimes they stay South Vietnam. Once I even saw it change to VC!

Thanks.

Make sure they haven't done another action that turn. Also make sure you're in a FORWARD base and not your FIRE base.

Nope. The flag changes based on the H&M score of the village. Keep going back to it, killing units around it, preventing enemy units from getting to it, and not dying near it to make the H&M score go up and it will change as it passes the various thresholds.

The flag in the village is only updated when a U.S. or ARVN patrol enters the village, it then reflects the level of the HM in that village
