Deploying Units where ever you want

Having acquired Puma's great little mod which allows me to purchase fortifications and minefields, I am trying to create a defensive line in one of my scenarios where the Soviets are about to attack my positions. Is there a way I can place units anywhere on the map?, instead of the predesignated deployment positions. My plan is to create a defensive line in Russia made up of fortifications and forts but I can only deploy them where the scenario allows.

In short, is there a way where I can deploy units anywhere instead of where the scenario dictates, a cheat, a mini mod?

The only way to add extra deployment hexes is by using the scenario editor. So it is doable but I've not seen anything like that as a mod. You might want to try it yourself, it is not very hard to do I think.

The scenario files are found in C:/Program Files/.../Panzer Corps/Data. Just load up the scenario in question and use 'Special Hexes' in one of the drop down menus to add them. The grey tank will allow you to deploy ground units, the grey plane for air units.

Grand Campaign files are stored somewhere else however.

Also you will need to at least start the scenario from the end of the previous one (to reset its state), though maybe this will involve the restart of a campaign.
