Vietnam65 is out now on PC and iPad!
"You will kill ten of us, we will kill one of you, but in the end, you will tire of it first” (Ho Chi Minh – President of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam 1945-69)
Fifty years ago Operation Rolling Thunder was launched. Supported by dozens of US fighter-bombers, this massive bombardment campaign aimed to persuade North Vietnam to cease its assistance to communist insurgents in South Vietnam and to destroy key military targets. Soon after ground units were also deployed and the US was fully involved in this iconic Cold War conflict!
But in Vietnam, firepower and technology only get you so far. Thanks to their knowledge of the terrain, close relationship with the local population and their mastery of guerrilla tactics, the Viet Cong and the North Vietnamese Army regulars proved to be a dangerous and elusive enemy.
As a result, victory is not determined by simply eliminating the enemy, but rather by winning the Hearts and Minds of the local population, thereby gaining their support to crush the insurgency.
In Vietnam’65, a new strategy game releasing today on PC and iPad, players will experience the true essence of this war. Developer Every Single Soldier has focused on providing a realistic and credible Counter-Insurgency model.
We are overjoyed to announce that the game is now available for only $9.99!. We are also going to offer a free Steam key to anyone who bought a copy of the PC version from the Matrix Games or Slitherine store, once the game is available on these digital platforms!

Re: Vietnam65 is out now on PC and iPad!
Help1 appears to be an excellent game but when I go to load infantry on a huey a dialog box appears that tells me to select infantry or artillery. Only a red x appears to close the box and I have no idea where to select the infantry or artillery. The deploy infantry always gives me the same dialog and I don't know how to select the infantry. Help please...thanks

When you choose the load button for the Helo, you then have to select a base containing units or a unit in a clear terrain hex, the Helo will then load the infantry.
If it is a base a list of possible units to be loaded will be shown , check the training ....

I don't think there's a way to do it in the game, but you can do it simply enough in Explorer on a PC, or Finder on a Mac.
I don't have a Mac handy to be able to tell you here you might find the files, but on a PC (assuming you're using a reasonably modern version of Windows, and you've done a standard install) you need to look in your 'Documents' folder, where you'll find a folder called 'Slitherine'. Inside that folder there is a set of three other folders, one containing your DAG armies, one containing your scenarios, and one containing your saved games. You can delete the saved games just like any other file, and they'll be gone from FoG.
