Re: The Great Rebellion Campaign
Revised map corrected to show sentiment (!) and side, slightly larger so with scroll bar but full map in view without scrolling. Will this format suit for regular updates?

Re: The Great Rebellion Campaign
Further revision to map to use basic colours for Welsh regions (previous were unsaved mixed ones) and to use standard fonts instead of itallics for side/sentiment coding.

Re: The Great Rebellion Campaign
Advanced warning for Late 1642
deadtorious will be Parliamentarian CiC
Blathergut will be Royalist CiC
Players can start PMing their army choices for the next turn - although Parliament only has one choice south of the border, players can signify if they want to use Covenanters should their CiC deploy them to Scotland.

Re: The Great Rebellion Campaign
What about using for the map shades of 2 basic colours, one for royalists and the other for parliament? the more intense the colour shade the more support for each cause
Re: The Great Rebellion Campaign
I have a colour scale like this in the 'National Mood' section of the scoring spreadsheet.Aryaman wrote:What about using for the map shades of 2 basic colours, one for royalists and the other for parliament? the more intense the colour shade the more support for each cause

Re: The Great Rebellion Campaign
I have spotted a "Great Rebellion: Royalist" forum in the new Tournaments and Leagues section - many thanks to whoever made this happen - is the Parliamentarian section on its way?

Re: The Great Rebellion Campaign
It is there, but being a Lickspittle lackey of the king you cannot see it. (Just as I, being of the Elect, cannot see the disgusting Royalist forum).keyth wrote:I have spotted a "Great Rebellion: Royalist" forum in the new Tournaments and Leagues section - many thanks to whoever made this happen - is the Parliamentarian section on its way?
(Even campaign umpires and forum moderators don't get to see the other side's stuff. So you Royalists will have to voluntarily keep your scurrilous gossip within bounds acceptable to the King, as your forum has no moderator.)

Re: The Great Rebellion Campaign
The map hasn't been set up to allow for quick region colour changes so the latest version above to show ownership/sentiment is the best I can manage. If anyone can improve it please feel free to do so.Aryaman wrote:What about using for the map shades of 2 basic colours, one for royalists and the other for parliament? the more intense the colour shade the more support for each cause

Re: The Great Rebellion Campaign
Mid-East: Blathergut (Royalists) 6% to UlysisGrunt (Parliament) 52%
A win for the King! Unlike some (name not mentioned) Parliamentarian generals who doth sit upon their dour derrieres waiting for the enemy to come into musket range, UlysisGrunt, much like his future namesake, did burst forward into close range almost before we couldesth lower our pikes! Our mighty keils then didst have great slaughter, not having to trade volley after volley of musket balls with which we were somewhat lacking.

Well, we have learned a lesson in the school of hard knocks; or was it some Magik that the king summoned from the depths?????

Re: The Great Rebellion Campaign
I'm guessing that Ulysisgrunt and ironclad are in action in the Mid-West. Any news from the Warlord/cavehobbit confrontation in Scotland?
Once these matches are concluded, Late 1642 will commence

Re: The Great Rebellion Campaign
Battles in Scotland have started. We keep a pace of 1-2 turns a day.

Great news. I'm not hassling you, just wanted to know that things were in motion. Thanks for the update!cavehobbit wrote:Battles in Scotland have started. We keep a pace of 1-2 turns a day.
