Western units in skirmish mode

Hello
I own the pc and ipad version of all the ba1 campaigns as well ad ba2. My only sadness with BA2 is not being able to play with all the cool British, American, French and Italian units in skirmish mode. Are there any plans to either add the BA2 features to BA1 or else release a DLC for BA2 with Western units/missions? Great games by the way!

Knowing how everything is about the almighty dollar these days. I think you can fully expect some sort of dlc or expansion for top dollar that will allow this in the future.

Some of the modders have already created some scenarios with a few of these units and I'm sure more are coming. See this thread for some of those scenarios

I managed to get some of the units across. I think you have to add stats on the end of the squads file to make them work in skirmish mode, which were not in BA1. [Edit] I haven't tried to add the stats on the end of the squads file yet.

I did see a couple of posts about porting units over. I assume that wouldnt work for the ipad app though?
