1.1.55 Update

I have downloaded the update and placed it into the game file. However when I begin the game it still shows the older version as the one being played. What am I doing wrong?

Hello guys,

Make sure you've unpacked the files at the right level. That is, the exe and the data files inside the package should have overwritten your current exe and data files.

Alternatively, unpack the contents of the rar file into a new folder altogether, copy across the serialreg.txt file from your installation directory and launch SPM-Windows.exe by double-clicking on it.

I have tried to install the update several different ways without any luck and when I run the program it still has the old version. I downloaded it as you suggested and placed it into a new folder and installed the folder into the program with the same result. I can see the files being installed but when I run it I still see the old version. I tried installing it another way and replacing the exe file in the program with the new one and I receive errors when starting the program resulting in a complete removal and reinstallation of the program and the older update.

If you drop the contents of the package into a new folder (for example, in your desktop), all you need to do is copy across the serialreg.txt from your existing installation and place it next to the exe. Then double click on the exe in order to launch the game.

Replacing exe's won't work, so don't go for that approach.

problem fixed, thanks. The program only allows one file to be selected when installing-you need to go back and select the second one-a step I was missing.
