Downloading Community P&S Scenarios from the library
We are now adding community scenarios/campaigns to the Slitherine user content library, for ease of loading into the game.
All you have to do is
1) Select "Historical" from the main menu.
2) Select the "Download Community Scenarios" button at the top of the screen.
3) Select the scenario you want to load from the list in the User Contents Downloads window. The progress of the download is displayed.
Once the download is complete, when you go back to Historical you will find the downloaded scenario(s) in the list.
If you have developed any SP or MP scenarios you would like to have made available in this way, PM me.
This topic is now locked because it duplicates the thread of the same name on the main Pike & Shot board. For further information see that thread.

Is it possible to play these Community Scenarios in a Multiplayer game once downloaded? If so, how?

Multiplayer versions of Roundway Down, 1st Newbury and Cropredy Bridge are now available on the FTP for download.
You download from the Historical screen as per SP downloads, but then when you go to the MP lobby they will be available for new challenges. Obviously the other player has to have downloaded the scenario too.

Kinsale scenario updated to v1.2.
Don't re-download it if you are in the middle of a game or you will get the "Scripts have changed" warning..
However, before you start a new game, delete the Kinsale folder from /Documents/My Games/PikeandShot/Multiplayer and redownload it.

Hi, sorry I know this is a bit of a dumb question, but...
If I download both MP and SP versions of a new scenario, when I opt to play against the AI, does the correct (single player) version automatically load?
Ta.

Yes. The SP version downloads into the Campaigns folder, and you will see it in the Historical menu. The MP version downloads into the Multiplayer folder - so you won't see it except in the choice of scenarios for a new MP challenge.Miletus wrote:Hi, sorry I know this is a bit of a dumb question, but...
