sending email to members

Post by alanincanberra »

Question for Administrator or anyone IT savvy
Hello I posted a query and the responding member asked me to PM some details to him. I have sent I thought 2 messages but now find them sitting in the Outbox going nowhere. How can I send them on to Sent Items? Regards Alan

They will stay in your outbox until the other member reads them. Then they will be automatically removed.

I am trying to compose a list of six members, all of whom have already sent me a PM. Can you please tell me how to constuct a short list of members that I can PM about a particular subject?
Oddly most of them do not appear when I search the list of members.
Thanks.

Hello Cromwell,

Once you are logged in, you will see an option for User Control Panel in the top left. Clicking this will show a number of options. As you are looking at sending the message to multiple people (and especially if you are goig to contact these people regularly) then it may be best to first go to the final tab "Friends and Foes". Then enter the usernames of the people you wish to contact, and they will be added as "friends", i.e they will be easily selected when messaging from this panel

Then go to the "Private Messages" tab, add the users you want to contact (if you have added them as friends then you can click the add button on the friend list) then write and send the message.
