Well wtv they plan on doing I want to play a full Soviet campaign on the PC engine. Now, weather it be PC or PC2 doesn't really matter to me, I happen to like soviet armed forces and would just love to see them recreated in this game... (mind you the mod i'm playing right now is pretty darn good, but I'd rather buy a full on expansion since I've absolutely adored every PC DLC so far implemented...Come to think of it... I think PC is the only game in the world where I would gladly throw my cash at, despite it being DLC, and that the free mod would probably be as good as the actual Soviet DLC :P )

It would be nice to see the Ukraine armies that defected to the German side. There might also be some neutral towns that need to be "corrected" and some civilian-like enforcers for either side (revolutionaries behind the lines versus occupational armies and German sympathizers). Partisans perhaps. I think there could be some fun scenarios woven around these subjective times when Ukraine had German sympathizers vs. Russian units, which both shot everyone remotely near the other's influences (as they fought over those territories).

 I don't think this thread would exist if that were true.

Anyway the common belief is anywhere from June to about October this year.

Guille just posted a download for a beautiful IS4 Soviet tank in the Scenario Design forum. If we are lucky there will be others to follow. :)
Old Timer Panzer General fan. Maybe a Volksturm soldier now. Did they let Volksturm drive Panzers?

I'd be surprised if that happens. The lastest news arrived late last year or possibly even earlier.

I think that such a round number like 70 years since the Victory, should be the best advertising and marketing ploy for them by the developers !)

PS. Capitalism does not like lazy people ;) as you'll miss a good profit $ . A reason better then to be only five years but it will be another anniversary )))

Don't forget, there is also June 22 coming up, and then various dates in August and early September. This year has a lot of possibilities!

If it takes until 2016 though I will probably stop looking and just make more mods instead!

What does August or September to the Soviet company ))) And June 22 is not the best reason or motive to release the company behind the red army because it is a great sorrow for the Soviet people ) By 2016, probably the most devoted fans of the series already will flee to where ) to do various Warhammer 40000 - Armageddon rather do seriously Soviet Corps ;)

Manchurian offensive. End of the war entirely!

Bagration? This seems logical seeing as AC was released with D-Day, and Bagration is the USSR's equivalent of D-Day

Manchurian offensive.

"Manchurian offensive"-It's a great idea ) But then the war in the USSR will need to start with border incidents with the Japanese Conflict at lake Khasan - July 29, 1938 and the Battle of Khalkhin Gol. 1939 )

Bagration is good but the victory over fascism in Berlin is better )

For non Soviet units Volkssturm infantry can be added for this expansion as well as basic Finish troops (ordinary infantry, ski infantry and at least one piece for all supportive weapons).

Special Elite units would be more suited for land forces so infantry and tanks in this case.
:) When you are already in the West will understand that the Siberian infantry is a figment of your imagination and fears ))) Soviet infantry was not divided into such exotic subspecies )))

But then so will enter then in the red army ,Siberian infantry, Asian cavalry,Caucasian mountain infantry,Panfilov Kyrgyz and Baltic division, the Indians, etc .))) The allies also do not divide on such grounds , but only by countries of what is true and right ) And then we had one on all country-the USSR
