I'm trying to understand the reason for lowering the point bar for the Ruwaseit Ridge scenario. … Am I missing something?

The data from actual play from actual players (not just the much smaller playtest group, many of whom were playing us). I didn’t crunch the numbers, but they looked compelling. They had to be, because this isn’t the sort of change we do lightly.
