Scenario swap mid game???

I just had something really odd happen. I was well into what I thought was a full campaign game, playing as the Russians and doing just fine. I checked the points and noticed that suddenly the game was listed as Operation Typhoon. Except that it's turn 16 and the Germans have way more than enough points to win.

I foolishly ended the turn without sending a feedback message from within the game. (I'd been trading turns last night without problems). The game immediately ended with an Axis victory. WTF? It's possible that this was a Typhoon game that just didn't stop on time. But I think it was a proper campaign that somehow switched or got reclassified. Anyone else seen this?

Cost me a loss, too.

The more info you can provide, the better. How did you enter the game, exactly? What was on the screen before?

This just happened to me again. I sent in a message via the in-game feedback this time. Basically I was playing a campaign game and everything was going fine. Midway through turn 7 when the turn came back from my opponent it was now an Operation Typhoon game.

I can't see any causal factor here at all. I was/am playing against a regular opponent. We tend to exchange a number of turns a day. We've finished several campaign games before, and when it happened earlier it was against a different opponent. In the earlier instance I was playing the Russians and it was late in the game. About turn 20. This time I am Axis and it's only turn 7. But it's past the time when Typhoon would end. If the game ends at the conclusion of this turn I will have more than enough points for a win, as you'd expect.

As for how I'm entering the game, I believe it was running the background on my iPad from the night before. I brought it up and cycled through several turns that were waiting for me. This was one of them.

An update: the game went to the victory screen, with Germany winning. However it's now stuck as an incoming turn rather than a completed game. Any time I log in to the game it shows up as if it's my move, but when I click on it I get the last move, the end of turn, and then the victory screen. But somehow it's not being kicked from ongoing games into completed games.
