German Mech units and VPs

Much to my surprise, I eliminated some German Mechanised Infantry units and found that I was awarded no VPs for it.

Just want to make sure this is intentional and not a bug.

It is intentional. It lets the germans have a few units that they can sacrifice without a point penalty.
