I agree being able to play through the entire offensive and counter offensive irrespective of early victory conditions would be a good option and it's been acknowledged. I'd like to see this in the next update.
As for more scenarios that's a tricky one. They could spend time developing those but time invested is time not spent on El Alamein. Considering how much cost has been sunk into BotB and it's pricepoint, can we reasonably expect Shenandaoh to invest more of their time for no additional financial return?
If this was the sort of generic game with minimal historic ties where they could churn out symmetrical maps with symmeterical forces and little regard for balance play testing then I would expect more.
But I regard Battle of the Bulge, El Alamein, Barbarossa (hint hint), etc as the 'scenarios' and yes it means paying for each individually but considering the amount of effort involved to produce one of these I don't think that's unreasonable.

Sorry you feel aggrieved so I just wanted to put the time frame in a little context.
We released on, I think, the 12th Dec or there abouts.
We then spent all our time with support, interviews, marketting, reviews, etc. which took us by surprise and became a full time job for most of the team until Christmas.
Since then we've had Christmas and New Years holidays which we very much needed.
Then we had a few days into January to look at bugs and some improvements.
I was then flown out to the States for a week long set of meetings and planning of updates, El Alamein and future projects.
We've some more important meetings to prepare for this week which require our attention.
New features take time to evaluate, create, implement and then require weeks (if not longer) testing. Then there's a week or two to get it through Apple. We have to be practical.
This is not meant as an excuse but is simply the reality.
As for not listening . . we do. We'd be foolish not to. We spend less time writing on the forums at the minute simply because we have so much else to do. We're still here.
There's very good reasons why devs rarely if ever publish timetables but that's a whole other discussion.
Hope that helps to at least vaguely paint a picture of where we've been in the few weeks since release.
Cheers,
Pat
EDIT: I'd just like to add that every good suggestion that comes through is added to a database and IS considered carefully.

Pat,
As someone that's been in software dev for 20+ years and done some game development, I just want to say thanks for not rushing out updates. I've had to do this a few times in the past, and in most cases, it causes more problems than it solves. It's easy to introduce bugs when rushing, and very easy to make game balancing mistakes. Game balancing decisions in particular are difficult to do quickly (well...easy to do, but difficult to do right
)
I'd rather wait a bit for a quality update, than get something buggy today.
Also, thanks again to everyone at Shenandoah for a great game! It's easily my favorite iPad game. (and I own the main competing products)

" I am starting to feel this is way overpriced as personally I am getting bored with the limited battles and repetition of same strategies including multiplayer (I have given up on multiplayer it has become boring.). "
Send me a game request and I guarantee it will be more interesting than you can handle.
Game center name: Obliquestrats
