Breaking off questions - Cataphracts and Knights too ?

Post by Keith »

I think I may have been hanging around in combat too long last game.

1) In the JAP , do my Cataphracts break off if the foot they are fighting are steady ?

2) the JAP phase is common to both sides , so you break off in the enemy turn AND your turn.

3) Can you break off if you are disrupted or fragmented ?

Yes, all mounted troops, except elephants, break off. Including cataphracts & knights. You don't break off if the enemy foot is not STEADY, or your mounted are facing in 2 directions (p106)
