Ladies & gentlemen, greetings.
I've just purchased the Mac version of FoG, I'm running it under Yosemite.
I am trying to launch my first game but... no tutorial is here to help me covering the basics.
Moreover, when I click on the "help" button of the game, I seen some HTML page without any styling or anything to make them easy to read.
And they start at "Fighting already routed opponents".
Looks like there is some text above but the screen does not scroll up.
So, where can I have some information about the rules ?
Where is the rules book ? Where is the help ?

Re: Where is the rules book ? Where is the help ?
OK, problem solved, I don't know how...
I launched a second game, played 6 turns or so and this time, the "help" link headed me to a readable table of contents and a a readable document.
The only thing I did between the fits unsuccessful try and the second has been to eject the FoG install image from the disk.
I have no idea how the two things could be related, anyway...

Re: Where is the rules book ? Where is the help ?
After all, problem unsolved. Still having a rules book at best ugly and difficult to read, at worst just blank...
Also, I'm having this error message when I leave the app :
MBS REALbasic Plugins
This application uses unregistered plugins from Monkeybread Software. Please visit our website at www.monkeybreadsoftware.de/realbasic and register the plugins. Thank you. (Util: String, Process ID: 5707)
I'm under Mac OS Yosemite.
Any insights ?

The help files are in html. What's your default Internet browser?
Regarding your other issue, I'm sorry but I don't have any clue. Which game version are you running?

Chrome is the default browser.
When I click the "show the help pages" help button, I see html-like pages but they are not displayed in Chrome. Looks like the interneal brower of the game (?)
Game version : recently bought, I guess it's the last one ?
1.8.1 btw

You can always access the instructions with your Internet browser.
Open your Applications folder, where by default, the game is installed:

Open index.html with your favourite browser:

Well, wasn't there an OSX version of IE at some point!?!
Fair enough, missed that part. I am guessing that the browser plugin has been made inoperative by some OSX update since it was written.
