Instability

Post by bigpooz »

:?: On a Windows XP machine running with an NVIDEA GE Force graphics card, the game is vey unstable. I'm lucky to get through 3-4 battles without having to reboot. Suggestions?

They will want the rest of diagnostics, most likely. Run dxdiag to get the info.

Sorry it's not working for you. Can you also check you have the latest drivers for your card. This is usually the cause of such problems.

Giving details of your machine specification, and the specific type of nVidia card will also be helpful to try and get you running more smoothly.

Cheers

Instability Fixed with DirectX 9.0c

Post by bigpooz »

In browsing the messages on this forum, I noticed a comment about problems due to DirectX 9.0b vs 9.0c. I went to the download.microsoft.update web page and downloaded (and ran) directx_dec2005_redist.exe. This updated 9.0b t0 9.0c. Now Legion Area runs on my computer without any problems, slick as a greased pig!
