Anyone in Pasadena, CA

Post by jdm »

We have been contacted by a retailer asked in the Pasadena, CA area who is looking for someone to run a FoG demo in his store. The store is Game Empire

www.gameempirepasadena.com

Anyone interested?

Interesting. Chuck is a very nice guy, and doing his best to promote historicals where it makes economic sense for the shop to stock the minis (such as FoW). I had spoken with one or two folks who I thought were already planning to play FoG at his shop, but that may not have come to fruition. (I had told Chuck some time past that if he really needed it, I could drive down the hill--close to a two-hour drive--and run a WAB game, but that's no help! )

In the past, Game Empire has been an exhibitor at the Strategicon shows at LAX, but he's not currently listed for Gamex, which is in two weeks. There is a FoG tourney scheduled at Gamex for Saturday the 24th. I will give Chuck a call and suggest that he swing by the tourney to see who might be interested in coming to Pasadena to run some games. Or if you like, point him to this News item on TMP, which links to the Strategicon site:

Hi JD,

I was contacted by Chuck.

Unfortunately I haven't been available lately.

I'll see if I can't get to his shop to demo the game. It's about an hour drive.

Cheers,
Bob
