Heroes

A nice feature of Panzer Corps (Wehrmacht) is getting heroes which will give you better capabilities. Can the opponent (the Allied force) also have heroes?

There are AI hero units in some scenarios - in West 44 there are artillery units and Naval units with range heroes, and some of the infantry units attacking Monte Cassino also have heroes.

The editor allows the scenario designer to assign heroes to any unit used on either side (eg special reinforcement units, and some special auxiliary units) but the AI doesn't earn heroes. Even if it could, there isn't time to make enough kills to earn a hero in only one scenario.

Thanks for answering, captainjack. It make sense there is no time for the Allies to earn a hero in one scenario.
