What should be used to represent SoA javelin light infantry?

Would it be safe to use models normally reserved for older eras such as Late Romans or similiar?

Storm of Arrows I suspect.

I have a bunch of assorted blokes in tunics with assorted shields and short pointy sticks. They have come from numerous different armies and multiple manufacturers so they look suitably irregular.

It is Storm of Arrows.

So basically any generic/peasant looking javelinmen will do?
