what are the effects of the different medals in the game. as far as i can see they give no bonus at all.

The medals are just flavor. They look pretty and are shiny.

Not just that. They also allow the unit that receives them bragging rights over all the other units. :lol:

Not true.They are ego boosters for the player (and thus also affect the game, albeit indirectly).
