This is a list of suggested improvement for the new BA version. There are not included bugs (for example LOS), minor issues, etc., that …, obviously will be fixed in the future).
They are mainly suggestions focused in interface improvements.
(I will edit and update this topic when new suggestion come in mind)
Multiplayer Player message window
- Possibility to make a new paragraph.
- Copy and paste.
- Access to see the message window during the turn.
- (on the Mac) writing the "&" char, moves the cursor to the up line, and writes this character there!!!.
- To be able to see the opponents name during battle.
(if access to the message window is provided, this will not longer be necessary).
- My Games: the three lists should show the side you are (was) playing.
Like the list for accepting a match where the opponent name is followed by "[side]". E.g. enric[allied].
For example if you play the same game agains the same opponent in a mirror game, before loading one of the two you could not know which side you're playing. - Accept Challenge: a preference to define which games want to see in the list, or the game remembers your last options checked).
- Accept Challenge: a way to avoid the "there are no public matches available...." that you must close, that floating window, every time.
- Be able to reorder the list for any column.
- Casualties window switch (toggle key).
- Units list reorder by any column.
Deploy
- A better deploy system being able to define areas where to deploy.
Not affected by the LOS of fixed units already on the map. - Ability to delimiter areas for deploy a team, e.i. team 1 area of deployment A or B, team 2 Deploy on C area, etc.
Interface
- Double click selects a line in any list and do the action.
Applicable to every list where you must click a line and then move the cursor to the corresponding ok button and click.
- Option to avoid the "Objective failed" or " … completed", final message.
Sometimes, now, you may surrender and get the "Objective completed". - Adding to the editor a way for creating the briefing map, messages, arrows, etc.
