Without any loss?
I've just bought Panzer Corps and was wondering if it is possible to win the 1939 campaign (Colonel difficulty) without the loss of any unit. In Panzer General is was possible. I'm just curious.

Re: Without any loss?
That means also no loss of a naval unit in Norway?
Re: Without any loss?
Definitely possible. In PG it was a bit crazy gameplay though, not to lose a naval unit in Norway. A major was much easier sacrificing the northern fleet elements on and with a purpose.

It is probably possible but it requires using a lot of dirty tricks and taking advantage of the known AI flaws.

Thanks ThorHa & Tarrak, then I have to discover those flaws. For now it is every time a loss of 3 naval units. In PG there were more sea hexes available without Allied forces, so it was much easier to 'find a way out'.

It is possible even on the highest difficulties.
And for Norway you can take a look at this video. I think around minute 11 starts the important part on how to keep the northern fleet alive. The focus in this video is not on keeping non-core units alive, so I am not sure if there are any losses, but with this maneuvers you can certainly do it.

Re: Without any loss?
Thanks braccada. I know of the existence of that YouTube video and have it on my "later to watch"-list. But as a beginner Panzer Corps player I like to learn it 'the hard way'. For me that's part of the fun. As I did the Norway battle several times and always lost those 'northern fleet' I was asking myself if it was 'überhaupt' possible. And apparently it is, so I can set my goal for the next time I do the campaign. I appreciate your response though.

That certainly is the most rewarding way! So good luck to your ship captains and their admiral

Re: Without any loss?
I made it in Norway without a loss. I have to admit that some luck was involved. Still I haven't had time to watch you video. But I will do later.
