Can't connect to patch server

I've not been able to connect to the patch server since I bought the game when it came out. I am running the game on WINE/LINUX. It is possible it is just a compatibility problem but I want to exhaust all possibilities before I accept this. BA1 worked fine and BA2 is probably not too far from BA1 in technology.

The errors in the patch file are as follows...

[01/09/2015 21:59:27] Error An error occurred when trying to download the server file. Server ID: TrueUpdate Server 1 : An error occurred when trying to open the FTP file. (3618)
[01/09/2015 21:59:27] Error Server Returned Extended Information: 550 BA2.ts1: No such file or directory (12003)
[01/09/2015 21:59:27] Error Script: Download Server Script > On Start, Line 114 (3618)

The app is working but it's just not communicating for some reason. Any ideas?
