Hey there,
Thanks for releasing this game on xbox 360. I downloaded this onto my 360 and noticed a few problems with gameplay. On some missions "D day" the game lags very bad unless you are zoomed in all the way. It's as if the 360 can't handle all the units on the screen which seems odd and the game freezes momentarily a few seconds then moves a bit. This occurs usually when zoomed up either partially or fully. The only way to stop in game is to kill of several units to make the game run smoother.
There is a sound issue as well that's not such a big deal but very noticeable. When units move or attack the sound is either of a different unit ( infantry sounds like tanks ) or the sound is delayed substantially. When planes fly overhead they usually are silent then 20 seconds later you hear it fly overhead. This personally isn't a big issue for me because I've experienced this with other turn based game. Another thing is the soldiers who are US or Brits speak German when you make a move, funny at times but gives the idea you have been spotted.
Another issue is the screen size, as there is no adjustment we must rely on the 360 or TV adjustments to fit the game. In my case I cannot improve it so I when I look at unit info I cannot see the unit or stats. Ultimately the unit details come down to what you see when you put the cursor over which is the most basic. One must have a HDTV to see the full screen.
I completed the tutorial and got the achievement, I beat the desert campaign and didn't get one. The screen with the animation came up, confirmed the campaign was beaten and returned to menu. No achievement was rewarded and my only guess is that I did not have full stars on all missions beaten. Some had 4 some had 3. Does one need all stars for achievement or is there an issue with them ?
A patch would really make a difference in smoothing the game out, for a small sized game file I imagine it would not be difficult.
I figured I would post this in detail here in hopes some customer feedback might help you guys out.
Hopefully you can support this game further and adding DLC would be pretty fun.

Re: A new fight for Battle Academy!
You can adjust the screen size using the L/R triggers on the main menu. There is a message which pops up on first run explaining this.
The achievements should trigger if you have completed the campaign, all awards are not needed. I will investigate.
Can you tell me what kind of setup you are running on - are you running anything else (e.g. user music) on your XBox? What kind of media are you running the game from and also the media you are using for your save files.
Cheers
Pip

Re: A new fight for Battle Academy!
Hi Pip, thanks for replying.
Good to know the screen can be adjusted, my TV is the old kind a 25in box so the words are a little small but thats no problem.
When I'm playing Im not using the music play or running anything other then the game itself. It's stored on the internal Xbox harddrive and goes straight into my TV. I havent had any issues with my games saving in the past onto my hardrive and theres still 35gigs of space on it. I played through the first 3 Normandy missions last night and the freezing/delay seems to ease off a little but still noticeable when completely zoomed out. The sounds are still off though like the infantry making mechanized noises and the delay on the air strike sound, but air strike works at the beginning of the turn sound just comes later.
As for those achievements I only beat the Westren campaign so far and when I look through the missions I can see they all have stars for the whole campaign but it didn't reward anything when it was completed. Same thing no music player or any other media going except the game.
Another thing I noticed and may have just been luck but I was playing the 3rd Normandy mission with the British infantry in the town and managed to take out a Panzer 4 four squares away. Seems like a pretty good shot but I have never noticed anything like that before or after unless I assault with the infantry up close. Luck of the dice I suppose
Hopefully that gives you a better idea. Still having a lot of fun playing and never a dull moment. Please give us more games maybe BA2 or multiplayer some day

We have fixed the freezing/juddering issue and are in the process of putting the update in for review. Thanks for taking the time to give me more information.
