Missing executable -issue on Mac

Hi guys!

I just bought Battle Academy 2 through Steam on Mac, unfortunately I cannot get the game to start. When I click to download the game, it "completes the download" instantly (so I guess it does not download anything) and after that clicking "play" gives me the "missing executable" error.

Any ideas? Itching to have a go after a two year hiatus from BA

I reinstalled Steam (and manually deleted the Steam folder from Library/Application Support) ... unfortunately the same behaviour persists. Does anyone have any tips what to do?

I think that the Mac version is not yet out on Steam. But I'll have to confirm this with our office and our production team.
Unfortunately the office is closed now for the holiday and will noly be reopen on 5th of January.

Have you tried the FAQ on the Steam link in the post half way down the page by wehrmacht https://support.steampowered.com/kb_art ... orvalue=28 - I'm unsure if that is what you have already done - but it might help.

No worries, but I bought the game combo (BA1 - BA2) through Steam so I guess its out

Yeah I found the same post through google, and given I'm on Mac I think I've done the same thing (effectively deleted all Steam game files) with no avail...

Oh hang on... I tried to install the BA from the combo that I bought and Steam is saying that its not available for my platform... so ... is it possible that Steam lets one buy games that are not available for the computer that user is using??

Just checked Steam site and and judging by the logos next to the headings Ba2 is for Mac and Pc, but Ba1 appears to be only Pc.

Correct - BA1 is PC only on Steam.
