I am a little surprised by the time it has taken to produce the new FOG in a business sense, given the potential sale of expansions. FOG has the most expansions of any Slitherine game, and expansions are by far easier and cheaper to produce than base games.
I think you need to wait just a little while longer as the release of the new version is imminent.
