Charging troops already in melee
My question is If MF charge LF in a overlap situation do the LF test for being charged, and the MF just join in the melee.
If the situation is what I think it is then the following from the FAQ should answer your question:
"5. SKIRMISHERS BEING CHARGED BY NON-SKIRMISHERS WHILE IN CLOSE COMBAT
Troops in close combat (other than only as an overlap) cannot evade from enemy charges. Therefore, skirmishers charged by non-skirmishers while in close combat (other than only as an overlap) do not have to take a CMT not to evade. They cannot evade. "

If your LF are in melee and some overlap the enemy BG, the overlap can only be charged in your opponent's impact phase but enemy can move into contact with you in its movement phase and fight in the melee phase. So the LF do not test for being charged and cannot evade as those events only occur in the impact phase.
