HQ/Airfield

Just tried an experiment. I wanted to make a HQ truck that switches into mobile airfield. to make it able to refuel aircraft I used class type 13 for a carrier and gave it movement type 4 (stationary). Unfortunately when I introduced the new unit the game crashes.

Does anyone know of any other way to make this work?

Example..............

Remember the airfield will only refuel the plane in top of it, not the one's biside it.

I seem to remember one of the DMP mods had a mobile airfield in it that worked quite well. I think it was thier big eastern front one.

It works for me.

You need to have your hanger icon as a different name otherwise the computer gets confused as the icon has two parameters.

Try Hangar_A.png

Also, make sure your id for the hangar is different.

As mentioned above, it only works over the air field.

My mobile airfields seem to work fine also, although I think your icon is better than the one I use. Has anyone tried assigning mobile airfields to the ai side? I'm thinking the ai wouldn't know what to do with it.
