Multiplayer problem after the patch

Hi

Before the patch multiplayer worked just fine, But after the patch when i click on multiplayer section, the screen does no get past "initializing multiplayer" to login screen. In other words it stuck at "initializing multiplayer". It does not freeze, because i can hear the music, but stuck at that screen.

note: I am using Steam version of this beautiful game.
