Game will not work on any drive but C:

The game will not initialize the first time it is run if it is installed to any drive except the C: drive. This is the Steam version.

If I try to install the game to any of my 5 internal drives or any of my other external USB drives, the game hangs on first run graphics at 0/20... If I install to the C: default Steam location, it works fine.

I have the latest updates installed. I have more than one Steam install location on this system, one in the default C:, one on a different INTERNAL drive letter G: and a third one on an external USB 3.0 drive letter N: As stated, only the C: install works.

Unfortunately, I'm not able to reproduce the issue.
Do you have any virtual drive?
