battle academy for mac tutorial tips

Hi, I just installed BA for my desktop Mac OS X and also on my iPad.
I have searched this forum, Slitherine website and YouTube looking for a tutorial or tip sheet.
Yes, I have been through BA's "Tutorial Campaign", but that is so basic and instructions are more for a Windows user.
For example, "Left Click" "Right Click" what is the Mac alternative (as a Mac mouse has no "Left Click" "Right Click").
Help please...

you'd still be better off posting your question in the above forum so someone there may help you as in general most won't even gets so if they do like me they will mainly redirect you etc, sorry don't use it so can't help either, but hopefully someone will be able to, good luck

I have move the thread to the BA forum (assuming it is for BA1, not BA2).

Many Mac users use a double button mouse, the OS supports right clicks and so does the game. That said, by default the game is playable using a single mouse button and starts up in that mode.

What version of the game are you running, as looking at the text we removed the right mouse button text a long while back when we defaulted to the left-only UI version.

There is an online help link on the main menu page to a gameplay manual.

Yes, thanks for moving it for me. This is fo Battle Academy 1 (version 2.6.0) using a desktop Mac OS X 10.6.8
My biggest problem is "De-Selecting". For example, if I select (simple mouse click) a tank, turn fire, etc.
when I want to select something else (say tank 2), I am having a hard time "De-Selecting" the first tank.
I have tried "Option + click" and also "Control + click"
Only thing that seems to work is to click somewhere far away from the original tank.

Where is the "gameplay manual"?
Main menu of slitherine's website, or the game itself?

You can select units by holding down the mouse button which will automatically deselect the first unit. Or, as you say, clicking a non-actionable tile also deselects. You can also deselect with SPACE (IIRC), and by clicking on the unit icon at the bottom of the screen.
