Purchase Naval Units during game?

Hi all! Is it possible to purchase naval units during a game (assuming there are sea zones)? I know you can do naval transports based on scenario and if there is a unit in a port city but would also like to buy warships (again, based on the map).

This can be done but it would have to be a custom map where there are only Naval units.

The cost is too high in order to have this feature with land maps.

In a standard game e.g. Panzer Corps Wehrmacht you can't buy warships.
In some Mods it's possible; e.g. in Italia Victor! you can buy warships (up to cruisers). The price is about half of the standard game as else it would be too expensive buying ships.

There you can purchase Naval Units.

Pazifik Korps also allows you to buy ships, since its a pacific mod, you can expect alot of naval engagements.
