In normal mode you tend to have plenty, but on challenging or higher a single unit lost is devastating because you cannot replace it and the experience is needed. I've only been playing challenging and I find myself having to use the autosaves and minimizing losses as much as I can because requisition is so scarce.FroBodine wrote:Thanks zak. That is part of the problem as I understand it. If you played the campaign with all mostly all tanks, then that probably means there is too much requisition. It should be a difficult decision as to what units you buy, and you should never have enough requisition as you want to get all the big units. That is how Panzer Corps is, and it makes for some tough campaign decisions.
I know this is not Panzer Corps, but is basically the same campaign structure. It just sounds like the campaign needs to be balanced so requisition is a precious commodity.
Experience is overrated.Dayta wrote:In normal mode you tend to have plenty, but on challenging or higher a single unit lost is devastating because you cannot replace it and the experience is needed. While its harder i think experience is still able to be kept in the first act. Second and third its harder with non-superheavies, but most of you units have probably been upgraded to superheavies or marines. There are few missions than tend to net negative experience, such as the final mission of act 1 and the final few missions of the game.Plaid wrote:

It is nowhere as strong, as it was in panzer korps (increasing almost all stats dramatically) - just accuracy and slight dodge bonus. And thanks to no "elite replacements" you will never have high experience on "normal" units anyway. (Heavy units with many wounds and long range artillery are exceptions).
Unlike panzer korps game is not experience focused (probably good - its not a role playing game). Losing a unit, or getting two units halved is roughly the same - nothing really bad happens when you lose low-medium cost unit.
By the way "killed units" button, supposedly should show lost unit list, but it does not work. Is it only me, or anyone else have this?
