Afrika Korps & Mega Campaign install failure

Hey,

I bought Panzer Corps Afrika Korps, installed it and after that registered and updated it by Game launcher, liked it a lot, and bought Mega Campaign, installed and registered it but it did not work. Those campaigns didn't show up. I wondered already why it asked to launch the game by Panzer Corps Wehrmacht, which I do not have. I googled the problem and uninstalled everything and installed them again first Afrika Corps, then Mega Campaign (it asked again to launch game by Wehrmacht) and lastly 1.22 patch. This time game did not even start because of "CRC check failed. Try to reinstall game." It even says in the game launcher play button: "Play Panzer Corps Wehrmacht". I don't have it.

What to do? Do I have to buy Wehrmacht, I would not like to. It's useless because of Mega pack. (Sorry for my english.)

I'm sorry to hear you are having problems with your game.
CRC errors mean that you have a corrupted installation and probably some corrupted Windows registry data regarding the game.
What Windows version are you running? 32-bit or 64-bit?

Thanks your for quick reply and concern.
I played Panzer General hundreds of hours and was so happy to find this wonderful remake.

I googled little more and found useful advices.
1. Uninstalled game again.
2. Followed these instructions to delete Panzer Corps registry keys in Windows Vista.

1. Open the "Run" window and type "regedit" and then press OK; this should open up the registry editior window.
2. Once the registry window has appeared navigate to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Slitherine" and delete the "Panzer Corps" folder.
3. Delete also the Panzer Corps folder in "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Slitherine"
4. Close the regedit programm and restart your PC

3. Restarted PC.
4. Downloaded Afrika Korps, Mega Campaign and 1.22 Patch again without antivirus and firewall.
5. Installed everything again.
6. Both Afrika Korps and Mega Campaign works now fine.

For 64-bit Windows you only needed to change the registry keys:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Slitherine

to

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Slitherine

Do you receive any error message? Have you had any Panzer Corps game installed before?

Yes I had older ver Pz corps before long time ago but been removed. Now installer says other program allready use this file(setup) and he can't start setup

Which Windows version are you running? Is it 32bit or 64bit?

Please do the following.

1. Uninstall Panzer Corps and Afrika Korps
2. Download the file attached in this post (PanzerCorps_ClRegKey-x86.zip)
3. Unzip the file and run the extracted file PanzerCorps_ClRegKey-x86.reg. Allow the "program" to edito your Windows registry. This wll clean all keys related with your Panzer Corps games.
4. Install Panzer Coprs
5. Install Afrika Korps
6. Run the game and check if you have access to both campaigns in the Campaign/Scenario menu
7. If both campaigns are running, please download the last patch from the link below:

8. Once you have downloaded the file please unzip it. Run the extracted file to update the game.

Ok I've done till step4, If I try install Africa Korps - same story other program allready use this file(setup) and he can't start setup, give up .

Try this:

1. Uninstall Panzer Corps and Afrika Korps
2. Boot Windows in safe mode
4. Install Panzer Coprs
5. Install Afrika Korps
6. Reboot Windows
7. Run the game and check if you have access to both campaigns in the Campaign/Scenario menu

At last - working and I can play both Pz corps and Afr Corps, thx respect etc.Everything I must install in safe mode incl path 1.22. One more time - thank You
