Flying units stacking

Post by crchappell »

Is there some way to stack flying units over ground units as in PC that I am missing? Looked in the forum for discussion on this topic but did not find it.

in panzer corps you can put your flying units onto ground units and only anti-air fires and fighters can shoot them down
but in armageddon you can't stack flying units onto ground units and you can even shoot them down using your tank cannon
i don't think it reasonable

For some WEIRD reason there are no true fliers in Arma.

There is an unit type called fliers, but they don't fly in the fashion you'd expect. Instead they occupy a ground hex - and behave like ground units for all puproses I can see. They also have crap movement!

Why the devs went down this path I don't know, but it's a very bad solution!
