Does anyone know what 'evasion' really means? how does it factor into the combat ...
Thanks !

Re: Flyers
I thought it provided an additional -10% to hit unless the enemy unit had anti air ability.
I have to say i dont really think flyers are working properly at the moment. Its very easy for any enemy to shoot them down. I can understand anyone shooting at hovers, but true flyers being shot up by everyone seems too easy.

Re: Flyers
Hmm until now (nearly the end of Act 2, Flyers human and Orks are only Targets. I was surprised as i learned that i didnt need a specialized Anti Air Unit to attack them, even the cheap Steel Legion Conscripts can attack the Ork Koptas and shoot them from the skies. (even Mortar support Units can Kill a whole Kopta Unit with one volley) The Same with my Gunships, if i was to close at enemy infantry i've lost a lot of strength points.
Attacking Tanks or Vehicles with Flyers is often suicide, usualy i fire with one or two artillery units on a enemy and than when there is no or only weak counterfire i attack with flyers...
Now in Act 2 i disbanded all Gunships, because nearly any enemy unit is a little AA Unit and the Flyers are too weak to be usefull.
To make them more usefull and interesting i suggest there should be something changed.
1. Only AA and Flying Units should be able to Attack Flyers
2. Other Ground units should only be able to defend themselve when Attacked and this with a significant lowered attack
If this isnt enough, maye the stats of Flyers should be raised? Orks and Humans

Re: Flyers
They also Need a 3.Enter all types of Terrain (but therefore not able to capture victory hexes)
Capturing a bunker would not make sense, but being able to flank a choke Point caused by cliffs is what they should be capable of. This would require seperating real Flyers from hovercraft

Yes and a 4. The Range must be increased (actual they have a movement of 5 Hexes, there are Infantry Units with 5 Hexes and Vehicles with 6 and 7 Hexes Movement)Falke_MatrixForum wrote:They also Need a 3.Enter all types of Terrain (but therefore not able to capture victory hexes)

Without improving this 4 Point Flyers and Special AA Units are Useless

Re: Flyers
Implementing Thunderhawks as Transports (in two types for infantry and for Tanks)
If possible as playable unit, if this isnt possible, then as Transport like the Ju52 in PanzerCorps but with capacity for self defense because the thunderhawks are well protected and armed vessels.
