Alt-tabbing out of the game does not recover

Windows 7 64-bit, Nvidia GTX 760, 1920x1200 resolution

I alt-tabbed out of the game during the first conversation in the tutorial, before the mission even begins. When I tried to switch back to the game, my screen was just completely black, and I could hear the people continue talking. But, I could never recover the game and had to end task to clear it.

Is this happening to anyone else?

Sometimes alt-tabbing works just fine, but yeah, it's happend to me as well. Black screen and you can only kill the game with the task manager...
