Champagne scenario unit limit
Hi,
Is there a way or a mod, to remove the limit to the number of units that can be deployed for any given scenarios during a champagne?
I would like to put in my entire Luftwaffe core, such limitations drives me bonkers....
regards

Well, you could fire up the editor and change the single-player scns yourself so that you can deploy whatever number you find ok. In the editor, after loading a scn this would be under "edit" > "scenario params".
I'd recommend to backup original scns before to be sure...

PC or iPAD?

I don't believe there is a limit on sparkling wine or bubbly alcohol in Panzer Corps. Your troops are free to celebrate their victorious march across Europe to their hearts' content.
However, if you are looking to ease the limit on deploying units during a scenario the safest and easiest way to go about this would be to use cheat codes. For PC, you need to follow this specific procedure.

I wanted to list here all cheat codes supported by Panzer Corps. Press Ctrl+Alt+Shift+C to enter a cheat code. Here is a list of supported codes (#N means an integer number).
core #N
Adds #N to core slots (can be negative)

Re: Champagne scenario unit limit
It's PC, but it's not the unite I can have in garage so to speak, it the unites I can deploy before the fright begins.
Let's say I have 12 planes, but can only deploy 8 of then in a given scenario, how to I change that. The scenario editor have the option of core units 0 or 1, but that seems to be new unite, the limit of unites usable.
The cheat only adds new slot for core units, doesn't effect the numbers of unites I can use at the same time.

Re: Champagne scenario unit limit
Ohh, that's a little different. For that, you have two options. The easy way is to deploy units after deployment phase. In other words, if you fill all 8 plane deployment zones, after you move them into battle on turn one, open the deploy interface (F8 hotkey) back up and then continue deploying aircraft.
The other option is through the editor. You have to add more deployment hexes to the maps, and that is a great deal more complicated. I suggest you try the first option, but if that is not enough, you will need to open, learn, and use the editor to do what you are trying to accomplish.

Actually the deploy interface was the way to go in Panzer General 2, but in Panzer Cops the deploy interface is greyed out after initial deployment.Kerensky wrote:Ohh, that's a little different. I'll try F8 to see if it makes a difference, but it seems to not be the number of deployment hexes either, there is a limit set somewhere of how many unites that can be deployed in every scenario (at least during Champagne) and the number is lower than the actual hexes.
Visually I see this happening, let's say I have 5 deployment zones left and 3 units, I then place 1 and then all the last 4 zones/hexes are removed from map, and the last 2 units can be deployed. When I start the battle, then I can't redeploy after let's say 1 day either, because the deploy button is greyed out.

Re: Champagne scenario unit limit
You should be able to add them as reinforcements. If you lose a core unit is the battle and have others in reserve you can deploy them up to the core limit.molan wrote: Actually the deploy interface was the way to go in Panzer General 2, but in Panzer Cops the deploy interface is greyed out after initial deployment.
Re: Champagne scenario unit limit
Yes, but how do I increase core limit?
Re: Champagne scenario unit limit
Press Ctrl+Alt+Shift+C.
Enter code - "core #N"
Replace N with the number of slots you want to add (for example "core #2" increases core limit by 2), -N to decrease core limit.
You can do this at any time, during deployment or during a later turn.
